Dance Experience
Background:
2008-2011
My parents put me into dance when I was only 2 years old because they did the same thing as my sister when she was 2. The studio that I originally went to was very toxic and not a safe environment for young kids, so my parents decided to take my sister and I out and we went to another studio.
2012-2015
My sister and I went to a new studio, and it was everything we could have imagined. I took multiple classes and met so many new people. The studio that I went to did dance competitions and I was working towards getting asked to compete with the studio. I worked really hard and then in 3rd grade I got asked!
Competing:
2016-2024
I competed in the styles of Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, HipHop and then Ballet and Pointe on the side. We would do about 4 competitions each year and then in the summer we would get asked to go to World Dance Championships. My senior year, our production dance of about 50 people won against people all around the World!
2024-present
Coming to school at Bloomsburg University, my freshman year I joined BUDE and it was so much fun. This year, I got lucky enough to teach two classes and got asked to choreograph a piece for the Dance Minor Concert. For fun, my friends at I, back at home, will do dance photoshoots!
